Schlupp to start, no Kouyate: Predicted 4-3-3 Crystal Palace lineup vs Leicester City

Crystal Palace will travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City in their next Premier League game on Saturday.

The Eagles are in a decent run of form as they are unbeaten in their last three league games and are 13th in the league table.

Roy Hodgson’s side are right behind Leicester City in the league table, but five points separate the two sides at the moment.

Palace have a pretty good head to head record against Leicester, having won three of the last five meetings between the two sides, and will want to keep that good record intact when the two sides square off this weekend.

Pape Souare and Julian Speroni are long term absentees. Barring the duo, the Eagles don’t have any other injury concerns and Hodgson will be glad he has a more or less fit squad to choose from.

Predicted Crystal Palace Lineup

Goalkeeper

Wayne Hennessey is expected to start in the goal for the Eagles. It has not been a season to remember for the custodian so far and he needs to step up in the business end of the season.

Defence

The duo of Mamadou Sakho and Scott Dann are expected to start at the heart of the backline. With the likes of Jamie Vardy and James Maddison set to play, the Palace defenders might have a busy afternoon.

Dann had a good outing against Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup, and will look to replicate his form in the next match as well.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Patrick van Aanholt have been standout performers this season for the Eagles, and are expected to start as the two full-backs.

Midfield

Captain Luka Milivojevic will have to put in another tenacious performance to stop the Leicester attack. James McArthur is expected to start alongside the Serbian.

Jeffrey Schlupp, who was in great form in the FA Cup game, might once again start in the midfield as he is good defensively and can make the forward forays as well. He’ll have a point to prove against his former team as well.

Attack

Christian Benteke is expected to lead the line for the Eagles. Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend should complete the Palace attack.
