Manchester United had a pretty good weekend as they beat Manchester City and stopped them from lifting the title for at least one more week. Jose Mourinho’s side came from two goals down to win the game and the fans will hope the performance will be a representation of things to come next season.
The upcoming summer could be big for the Red Devils as they’ll have to sign players in a few more areas to challenge Manchester City for the title. However, before they can do that, we might see a few players leave the club.
Reports indicate they could let Marouane Fellaini leave in the summer after his contract expires and to none other than Liverpool. To be honest, where Fellaini goes shouldn’t concern United after his contract expires. Since signing for the club under David Moyes, he has never been able to put in assertive displays consistently and now he is likely to leave.
Move to Liverpool will worry a few fans
Simply because the Merseyside outfit have never had a combative midfielder who can break play. If Fellaini can do that regularly with Liverpool, he’ll add more balance and steel to the midfield.
Liverpool already have a pretty good attack, so not all United fans will be looking forward to Klopp working with Fellaini.
