Big guns to return: Predicted 4-3-3 Liverpool lineup vs West Brom

Liverpool host West Brom tonight and will hope to heal their wounds after dominating Everton but only managing to get a point. Jurgen Klopp was infuriated by a few questions regarding the penalty decision on Sunday, but he needs to put them aside and make sure normal services resume at Anfield.

Liverpool made quite a few changes to their starting XI and though they didn’t manage to win the game, they played pretty well. However, expect Klopp to name a much stronger lineup against West Brom.

Predicted line up: (4-3-3)

Defence

Simon Mignolet will keep his place between the sticks. He has picked p his form after that woeful outing against Spurs and will hope to continue his good run.

Dejan Lovren, who has had few horror moments this season, will play alongside Ragnar Klavan. This duo has been working hard and looked better in recent weeks, especially with the blocking and defending in set pieces.

Andrew Robertson could see himself in the starting line up again as he found large spaces and time to cross. Moreno isn’t quite fit, so expect the Scot to start.

Midfield

Given that Can, Coutinho and Wijnaldum were rested, the midfield trio will surely see big changes. However, Henderson might be given another game. Henderson’s forward passing and influence on the game in terms of his pressing are often the reasons why he is at times indispensable to the team. He keeps the attack flowing smoothly.

Philippe Coutinho will obviously play at an advanced role, more like a free number 10. He is a real threat when he operates behind Firmino and Salah.

Attack

Sadio Mané hugs the left touchline and gets into the box with positive intentions. An absolute live wire on the pitch. He is likely to start again. Roberto Firmino’s attacking ability in the box, desire to win the ball or gain back possession will see him lead the attack.

Surely the player of the season so far, Mohamed Salah creates something almost everytime he picks the ball up in midfield. To watch him down that right wing is a pure joy. After picking up the African player of the year award, he’ll hope to make it a good few day when taking on the Baggies.
