Manchester United won all three points to reduce the deficit between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to 4 points as they beat the league leaders 2-0 at Old Trafford. Rashford opened the scoring in the 7th minute while Ander Herrera doubled the lead in the 49th minute.
United held on to the two goal lead and dominated the entire game. They remain four points behind their Manchester rivals with the win and have an outside chance of making it to the top four, given their tough fixture list ahead. Below are Manchester United’s player ratings.
David de Gea
Rating: 7
David de Gea didn’t really have much to do between the sticks except collect aerial balls in awkward situations which he did well.
Eric Bailly
Rating: 7.5
Bailly did well at the back, making a few important tackles in the box. He also dealt with the threat of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa along with Ander Herrera.

Rating: 7.5
Valencia had a good game as he made several decent runs down the right for Manchester United, giving Azpilicueta a tough time at the back.
Ander Herrera
Rating: 8.5
Herrera had an excellent game, not only keeping Hazard really quiet by not giving him an inch of space but also he took a lot of Chelsea midfielders out of the equation with his through balls. He also got the important second goal for Manchester United.
