Despite bringing a large number of reinforcements to the London Stadium during the summer transfer window, Manuel Pellegrini’s side are yet to clinch a point so far this season in the Premier League. A lot of cohesion is required amongst the players of West Ham United to churn productive results.
After being hammered 4-0 by Liverpool at the Anfield, the Hammers lost 1-2 at home to Bournemouth before suffering yet another demoralising 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday. It was unarguably a pulsating London derby where Unai Emery’s men secured all three points at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite enduring such results, Pellegrini has insisted that his side are going to continue to play an attacking brand of football. The Chilean does have some really good attacking players in his armoury and he is reluctant to change his philosophy even after his team’s recent run of fixtures.
Speaking to the press after the clash against the Gunners, Pellegrini said: ““It is a style that this team will continue to play in the future and I am absolutely sure and I hope that the fans also continue to support because the team is in the current way and we are going to win more than we lose.”
