Leeds United will look to recover from their FA Cup elimination when they face off against Watford in a Championship clash on Tuesday.
The leaders of the Championship this season, Daniel Farke’s side entered Saturday’s FA Cup 4th-round tie against the league counterpart Millwall – who are 14th in the table – as the favourites but suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to exit the tournament.
Nevertheless, they will shift their focus towards the competition they have dominated on all fronts this season. Sitting 2 points clear at the top of the Championship table, the Whites have been unbeaten since November.
Adding to it, the Yorkshire outfit top the charts for the most goals scored in the Championship this season as well as the best defensive record.
While their momentum could have taken a slight hit following the setback against Millwall, Leeds United will be keen to build on their impressive league run – 4 wins in their last five games – including the 7-0 thrashing of Cardiff City.
On the other hand, Watford, who are 10th in the league table, have apparently gained a little momentum following their 2-2 draw against Sunderland in their last fixture – which ended a three-match losing streak.

Daniel Farke will continue to be without Patrick Bamford, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, and apart from that, the German gaffer has no fresh injury concerns.
Farke made several changes to the starting XI against Millwall but to no avail. Prominent names are expected to return to the fold against Watford.
