Brighton should be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in the new Premier League season on Saturday when they travel to Molineux to face Wolves.
The Seagulls thrashed newly-promoted Luton Town 4-1 at the Amex Stadium on the opening weekend, picking up where they left off last season. They have cemented their status as one of the most exciting attacking teams in the division under Roberto de Zerbi.
De Zerbi will be hoping to see his team maintain their impressing goalscoring record and beat Wolves, who can count themselves unfortunate to lose 1-0 at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday.

Jakub Moder remains sidelined due to a serious knee problem, while Adam Lallana, Adam Webster and Tariq Lamptey are injury doubts for Saturday’s away clash.
Webster and Lamptey both missed the 4-1 win over Luton Town, with Webster out with a ‘minor’ issue. Lamptey, meanwhile, is recovering from a long-term knee injury that kept him out for most of the second half of the 2022/23 season. However, the defensive duo were spotted in training on Thursday as they prepare for the trip to Wolves.
Predicted Brighton Lineup vs Wolves (4-2-3-1)
Goalkeeper
Roberto de Zerbi will take the attacking route by sticking to a 4-2-3-1 formation. Jason Steele will take charge in goal, hoping to shut the shop as quickly as possible at Wolves.
Defence
Pervis Estupinan will retain his spot at left-back. Veteran James Milner, who played 80 minutes against Luton Town, is expected to keep his place at right-back.
In the injury doubt of Adam Webster, Jan Paul van Hecke will continue partnering skipper Lewis Dunk at the heart of Brighton’s defence. The duo will have the difficult task of keeping the Wolves’ quick forwards quiet.
Midfield
Pascal Gros and Mahmoud Dahoud will hold Brighton’s midfield. The duo will not just look to dictate the pace of this game but will have to ensure that the likes of Matheus Nunes, Pedro Neto and Mario Lemina are not allowed too much time on the ball.
Joao Pedro had a solid debut outing for the Seagulls, dispatching a penalty with great conviction against Luton Town. From the No.10 position, the Brazilian will act as the creative link between midfield and attack.
Attack
The front three of Solly March, Danny Welbeck and Kaoru Mitoma ran rings around Luton Town last weekend. March, who opened the scoring with a powerful header for Brighton, will start on the right wing. Mitoma will keep his place on the left flank and Welbeck will lead the attack.
Simon Adingra and Evan Ferguson came off the bench to complete Luton Town’s rout, and the young forwards will be pushing for a start at Molineux.
