Hugo Lloris is on his way to recovery and is expected to return next month. Harry Kane is out of contention as he is sidelined with a hamstring injury, which could keep him out until March.
Tanguy Ndombele was withdrawn early in the first half against Southampton owing to a hip injury and might not play. Moussa Sissoko is likely to remain out until April as he went under the knife following a knee injury.
Danny Rose is doubtful for the upcoming fixture as he is nursing a muscular injury. Further, Ben Davies is scheduled to return next month owing to his ankle injury which he picked up while playing against West Ham United.

Paulo Gazzaniga is set to start in goal once again in the absence of Lloris. The custodian has fared well under the bar for Spurs, and could have a busy game against Liverpool.
Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld could be summoned to feature at the heart of the defence. The two will have to make sure they don’t get dragged out of position by Roberto Firmino, who likes to drop deep and create openings.
While Serge Aurier could get the nod to start as the right-back, Jan Vertonghen is likely to start at left-back in the Tottenham lineup. The latter is immensely experienced, and Mourinho could be urged to use him to keep Mohamed Salah at bay.
Midfield
Eric Dier and Harry Winks could unite in the central midfield to shield their side’s defensive line.
It will be interesting to see if the English duo can compete with the work-ethic of the Liverpool midfield, which has set incredible standards over the past two years for their tenacity.

Son Heung-Min could lead the line against Klopp’s entourage. He is likely to be aided by Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela in the Tottenham lineup, and the attacking trio must ensure they get the most out of the transitions.
