3 Transfer Flops Everton And Ancelotti Need To Get Rid Of | Opinion

Everton are entering a new era under Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti, who replaced Marco Silva at the Toffees.

Ancelotti has had a mixed good start to his career as manager of the club, but he needs to make quite a few changes if Everton are to compete for the top 6 spots.

The Italian has a few exciting players in his squad, but he needs to bring in some quality players across the squad, while also letting a few players leave from his squad.

Let’s take a look at 3 players Carlo Ancelotti needs to get rid of at Everton:

3 players Everton should get rid of

#3 Cenk Tosun

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is Everton’s no. 1 choice for the striker’s role at the club, while the Toffees signed another exciting young striker Moise Kean ahead of this season.

This means that the likes of Cenk Tosun, who has been at the club since 2018, has a bleak future and is pretty low in the pecking order.

The Turkish international has not had a great Everton career as he has scored just 10 goals in 47 games for the club.

With two strikers already in the squad, as well as Richarlison, who is another fresh and promising talent, Everton need to get rid of Tosun to strengthen their squad. Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing him in the January transfer window.

#2 Cuco Martina

One Everton player who a lot of fans would have forgotten about is defender Cuco Martina, who hasn’t played for the club since 2018.

The defender had a brief spell with Stoke City in the Championship last season, but hasn’t featured at all for Everton this season.

The 30-year-old full-back will not get any opportunities as he has the likes of Djibril Sidibé and Seamus Coleman ahead of him at right-back.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Everton would want to make some money off his transfer in the January transfer window.

#1 Oumar Niasse

Another player who is out of contract in the summer is striker Oumar Niasse. Niasse joined in the 2016 transfer window from Lokomotiv Moscow, but has not had many opportunities to show his worth.

The Senegalese international has scored 9 times in 39 appearances for his side and has had two loan spells to Cardiff City and Hull City.

The 29-year-old could also be sold in January by Everton to recoup some of the £13.5 million that they paid for him in 2016.

Its simple, yet effective. A lot of times its difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal viagra.
