Jadon Sancho might be up for grabs soon as he is reportedly (h/t Daily Mail) set to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer as the German club’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke recently acknowledged the fact that Jadon Sancho might not remain at the club much longer and the 19-year-old English sensation is being linked with a move to Old Trafford next summer.
However, even if it looks like Manchester United are ahead in the race to sign him, they are bound to face stiff competition from their arch-nemesis, Sancho’s ex-employers and the reigning kings of England, Manchester City.

Sancho was on fire last season, stringing one brilliant performance after another, managing to net 13 times and setting up 19 goals in all competitions for the Bundesliga side and the rumour that Manchester United are running helter-skelter after his signature does not come as a surprise to anyone.

Will signing the highly-rated youngster actually help the Red Devils? Many feel he is the perfect fit for United, who have been looking to replace their favourite number 7, the Portuguese phenomenon Cristiano Ronaldo for a decade now. Sancho is all of 19 and he is raw, talented, and most importantly, hungry to make a mark.
Under Ole, United have been looking to build a team that is full of young, passionate English players who understand the value of the United crest and Sancho will definitely fit the bill as at a young age, he already has the experience of playing overseas and it does not look like all the talk surrounding him has fazed him one bit as he has been performing brilliantly thus far.

The Red Devils were rumoured to be considering a move to try and get Sancho to Old Trafford during the recent transfer window and look likely to be the first ones to react if Sancho is available next summer. However, his former club Manchester City are, as part of the deal that saw him leave the club for the Bundesliga outfit, eligible to make a counter-offer to bring him back as soon as Dortmund accept an offer for the player.
Whichever out of the two Manchester clubs pull off the coup, it is a no-brainer that the price tag will soar sky-high come next summer if the sensational English winger can maintain his consistency this season.
