4 Likely Changes: 3-4-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Huddersfield Town

Arsenal will face Huddersfield Town at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow looking to pick up all 3 points at the end of a hectic week. Emery was left ruing the missed chances against Manchester United as Jose’s men came back twice to salvage a draw in midweek.

But the Gunners will be feeling more confident going into tomorrow’s fixture despite a couple of additions to the injury table. Huddersfield Town are struggling this campaign and are currently in the 17th place having collected just 10 points from 15 matches.

The pre-match stats don’t make for good reading for the Terriers. They have failed to win 17 of the last 19 matches in the Premier League and have also lost their last 4 matches against Arsenal. To compound matters, Emery’s troops are undefeated in their last 13 matches in the league. All this points towards an easy home win but Emery will know better. He will not be taking the visiting team lightly and will like to ensure all 3 points as early as possible.

ARSENAL TEAM NEWS

Rob Holding and Aaron Ramsey have joined the queue at the treatment table. The centre-back has ruptured his ACL and will miss the entire season. But Ramsey has a minor issue and should be back next week. Danny Welbeck (ankle) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) are long-term absentees while the match might come too soon for likes of Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Mesut Ozil.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP VS HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (3-4-3)

DEFENCE

Bernd Leno has cemented his place in goal. A clean sheet will do him a world of good though.

Even though Emery is struggling with options in central defence, he can deploy Stephan Lichtsteiner alongside Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis in a back three.

MIDFIELD

Granit Xhaka is expected to come back into the team and will replace Guendouzi in central midfield. Lucas Torreira should retain his place.

Hector Bellerin will start on the right flank while the in-form Sead Kolasinac should continue on the left. Nacho Monreal has returned to full training but is not expected to be ready for a game yet.

ATTACK

Arsenal have a Europa League fixture next Thursday and have already qualified for the next round. Emery can afford to deploy his first choice attack to make sure of the 3 points. We expect Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to start alongside Alexandre Lacazette in a front three.

The French striker will be looking for a start after 3 games. He came off the bench on the last two occasions and scored a goal and had an assist. Aubameyang’s incredible conversion rate took a hit when he came up against David de Gea and he will be keen to get back on the scoresheet again.
