After a last-gasp win against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, Liverpool will hope to keep the heat on Manchester City when they take on Burley on Wednesday.

Liverpool haven’t been at their offensive best but their defence has stepped up so far this season.

Against a struggling Burnley side, the Reds will have to be more fluent in attack as the Clarets are likely to sit back and play for a point.

Midfield

Jordan Henderson is back from suspension and is in line to start against the Clarets. James Milner and Naby Keita could start alongside him in a completely changed midfield to the one that started against Everton.

The attack often flattered to deceive against Everton and Klopp will hope they are more clinical in front of goal.

With Mane unlikely to feature, Roberto Firmino could be shifted to a wider role and replace the Senegalese on the left.
