Lamela And Moura To Start: Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur will look to consolidate their position in the Top 4 when they visit Selhurst Park tomorrow. Spurs are coming on the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the UCL. They will face a Crystal Palace team who are just 2 points off the relegation zone and will go into the game as the favourites.

It hasn’t been the smoothest of seasons for the Harry Kane-led side with off-field issues pertaining to the club and a couple of players, often eclipsing pre-match talks. But Pochettino has managed to hold their position in the league despite a number of key injuries and the well-documented fact of zero additions to the side in the summer.

Coming to their opponents, Crystal Palace have once again failed to get off to a strong start this season. They managed to retain the services of Wilfried Zaha and made a couple of key additions. But the lack of a consistent goalscorer up front keeps hindering their progress. They are 14th on the table but can never be considered pushovers ahead of a match.

Zaha is currently their leading goalscorer with 3 goals and will once again be the key man for them.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS

Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are back in training and will be assessed before the match. Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen remain out and are joined by Mousa Dembele who is unlikely to return before the New Year.

PREDICTED TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR LINEUP VS CRYSTAL PALACE (4-2-3-1)

DEFENCE

Hugo Lloris will be back in goal. He missed the midweek encounter due to suspension.

Kieran Trippier is likely to start at right-back. He will replace Serge Aurier from the team which defeated PSV 2-1.

With Vertongen out, we might see Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld take up the two centre-back slots.

Ben Davies will continue at left-back and will hope to have more of an impact as the season progresses.

MIDFIELD

Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama might not be risked with another international break almost upon us. We are likely to see Harry Winks continue in midfield. He can be paired with Moussa Sissoko who did not feature in midweek.

ATTACK

Pochettino has spoken about managing the comeback of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen. The duo featured from the start a couple of days back and we are unlikely to see both of them starting again. Christian Eriksen is likely to take up the No. 10 position. He can be flanked by Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura. Moura was effective against PSV while Lamela came on the pitch on the hour mark.

No surprises up front as we will see Harry Kane once again start with the responsibility of providing the goals for his team.
