Arsenal transfer news: The Gunners had a crucial transfer window as Mikel Arteta improved his squad ahead of his second full season in charge of the Gunners. After a disastrous 2020-21 campaign, Arsenal were linked with several new faces.
The Gunners refrained from spending big money in the 2021 January transfer window, but have spent lavishly in the summer transfer window so far.

Arsenal have added more young players to their squad as the trio of Ben White, Sambi Lokong, and Nuno Tavares are all long-term signings. White is expected to fit in well under Mikel Arteta as the Spaniard likes his side to play out from the back.
The biggest signing of the window was Ben White. The Englishman is expected to add more steel and fluidity to the defence alongside the likes of Pablo Mari and Gabriel.
The club sold Emiliano Martínez as he was in high demand after his performances in the second half of the 2019-20 season. Mattéo Guendouzi, and William are out on loan, while David Luiz left the club on a free transfer for AS Roma.
