Following a narrow and emotional win over Cardiff City last weekend, Leicester City will hope to continue their good form when they host Burnley on Saturday.
The Foxes are currently sitting 10th in the Premier League table, having won five, lost five and drawn one game.
Head coach Claude Puel has already ruled out the availability of star players Harry Maguire and James Maddison this weekend which could be a huge blow for the Foxes.
Defence
Jonny Evans is likely to replace Harry Maguire at the back. The former West Brom defender could partner Wes Morgan in central defence. Morgan averages 5.6 clearances per game, more than anyone else in the team.
Ricardo Pereira has done well in the right-back role with his forward bursts and is likely to start in the role as Daniel Amartey isn’t available.
Ben Chilwell should start as the left-back. The Englishman has created the second most number of openings for Leicester this season and will be a key outlet on the left.
Kasper Schmeichel will start in goal and will look for his fourth clean sheet of the season.
Midfield
Wilfred Ndidi and Nampalys Mendy will continue in the central midfield partnership.
Ndidi has once again played a key role in midfield this season, making 3.1 tackles and 1.7 interceptions a game. Mendy, on the other hand, will look to provide the support as Leicester look to dominate an out of sorts Burnley midfield.
Attack
The absence of James Maddison, who leads the team in terms of key passes, will be a bitter blow. Kelechi Iheanacho will be tasked with the responsibility of the providing the creative spark in the final third in Maddison’s absence.
Demarai Gray will once again be given a start this weekend after doing well last weekend. He will be deployed as the right winger with Marc Albrighton starting on the opposite flank.
And finally, the Leicester City attack will be led by Jamie Vardy, who will be keen to add to his goals having mustered just three strikes so far this season in the Premier League.
