West Ham News: Pellegrini Unhappy With His Side’s Performances

Despite splashing truckloads of cash during the summer transfer window, West Ham United are yet to bag a point in the Premier League this season. The Hammers have lost all of their opening four games in the league and the pressure is certainly mounting on them.

Manuel Pellegrini, who was signed by the London based outfit earlier this summer to manage the club, is dissatisfied with the performances of his side so far. After their 1-0 defeat at the London Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday, West Ham United are pencilled at the rock-bottom spot in the league table.

Wolves substitute Adama Traore scored deep into the stoppage time to render the Irons their second home defeat this season. A drastic upturn in form is required by Pellegrini’s troops to pull themselves out of the misery they currently find themselves in and it is certainly not going to be easy.

After the defeat at the hands of Wolves, Pellegrini seemed concerned as he said to BBC: “I don’t think it is a bad start, it is a very bad start. We can’t lose six points here at home like we have. Playing away against Liverpool and Arsenal, if you don’t play so well is understandable. Here at home to lose we must be very worried.”
