Shocking: Chelsea Could Loan Out Spanish Striker To West Ham In January

As per one of the latest reports by Express, Chelsea could ship Alvaro Morata out on loan to West Ham United in the January transfer window. The Hammers wanted to prise Morata out of the Stamford Bridge in the summer but his move failed to materialize.

The Spanish international signed for the Blues last summer from the ranks of Real Madrid. However, his debut season with Chelsea proved to be a stuttering one as he not only struggled to find a decent form but was also rocked by injuries which derailed him considerably from hitting his peak.

He has been far from appealing so far this season under the tutelage of new manager Maurizio Sarri as he has managed to score just 1 goal in 4 starts. Besides, he is facing immense competition from fellow striker Olivier Giroud who has been a huge asset for Chelsea after his switch from Arsenal in January.

West Ham United have flattered to deceive despite rolling out huge amounts of cash during the summer transfer window. At the moment, Marko Arnautovic is their first-choice striker but they are interested to get Morata into their arsenal to beef up their offensive options.
