Chelsea are enjoying a delightful start to their new season in the Premier League under the stewardship of their new manager Maurizio Sarri. The 59-year-old replaced Antonio Conte earlier in the summer after the latter was axed by the Blues following a mediocre campaign last term.
So far, the London based outfit have won all of their first four league games and it is only the goal difference which separates them from Liverpool who are placed at the top of the league table. Interestingly, David Luiz has heaped praise on his manager and has been delighted with his approach.
Luiz returned to Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2016 but he found himself cornered during the later stages of Conte’s reign. However, the 31-year-old has been reinstated in the starting line-up after the arrival of Sarri and he is apparently relishing working under him.
The Brazilian has said: “First of all he’s a great person, great as a human. I think his philosophy to live life is already great because he wants to enjoy every day, he wants to be happy and he wanted to take this opportunity to start one more chapter in his life. He is a great coach.”
