Pep Guardiola will square up against Marco Sarri in the Community Shield as both prepare to ready their teams ahead of another exciting season of Premier League football.
This game promises to be an all action encounter as both mangers pride themselves on playing attractive attacking football.
Both the teams have quality players within their ranks who could influence the game. Here are three players who could play a key role in determining the result of the match:
#3 Jorginho
Chelsea’s newest acquisition, Jorginho, will have his first taste of English football as he prepares to face the defending Premier League Champions Manchester City.
Jorginho is a crucial figure in midfield and dictates play from central midfield. He has a great passing range and drives his team forward by playing incisive passes to find his teammates in pockets of space.

The Italian acts as the pivot from deep in his own half and helps build attacks from the back which is an essential component of Sarri’s philosophy.
It will be interesting to watch how Jorginho fares against the high pressing midfield of City. He will have an important role to play if Sarri’s men want to stamp their authority against Manchester City.
#2 Leroy Sane
The 22-year old German had a stellar campaign last year, winning the PFA Young Player of the year award as he scored 10 goals and notched up 15 assists. He was shockingly left out of the World Cup squad by Germany head coach Joachim Loew.
Sane has a prove a point and Sunday’s match will provide him with the right platform to showcase his talent. He will be playing against Cesar Azpilicueta who reads the game well and has excellent positioning sense.
It will be a tough task but Sane is one of the best young players in the world. He is a nightmare to defend against as he is lightning quick and a good dribbler of the ball.
Under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, he has evolved as a player, honing his decision making and becoming more clinical in front of goal.
#1 Callum Hudson-Odoi
The 17-year old Englishman has set pulses racing with an exciting preseason where he has done more than enough to merit a place in Sarri’s team.
Hudson-Odoi has the pace to burn and has performed like a seasoned veteran in the past few games.
In the match against Perth, he set up Pedro for the winner. However, he left his best for the last as he ran riot in the game against Arsenal.
The young prodigy was a sight to behold as he troubled Bellerin all afternoon with his quick feet and mazy runs. He successfully won a penalty in the game, after a clumsy challenge by Bellerin.
The Community Shield encounter could provide young Hudson-Odoi with another opportunity to impress and stake his claim to play more first-team football.
