As per reports by Daily Star, Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is considering his future and could leave the club by the end of the month. Although the transfer window for Premier League sides closed on 9th August, outgoing deals can still go forward until 31st August.
Lacazette signed for Arsenal last summer while Arsene Wenger was at the helm of the north London based outfit for what was a club-record transfer fee until that time of up to £52.6m with add-ons. The Frenchman had a decent first season as he found the back of the net on 17 occasions in 42 appearances.
However, the Gunners signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window which increased the competition for a place in the starting line-up for the striker’s role.
Lacazette is yet to start for Arsenal so far this season owing to Unai Emery’s persistence with Aubameyang, although the Gabon international hasn’t scored a goal so far.
Reportedly, Lacazette is frustrated with the lack of game time as he has been mostly used off the bench by Emery and is, therefore, looking for an outlet. Interestingly, Arsenal are reluctant to lose him anytime soon despite the fact that many top quality sides in Europe are monitoring him.
