Yerry Mina, the Barcelona centre-back has been a major talking point this summer transfer window right after a strong World Cup campaign with his Colombian national side.
Mina moved to the Catalan side in January 2018 for a fee around 11.8 million euro’s from the Brazilian side Palmeiras. Since joining the Catalan side he has made 5 appearances for the club and was poor in the games that he played in.
He won the Laliga and Copa Del Rey 2017-18 during his time at the Catalan club. He is now subject to a transfer elsewhere since Barcelona are looking to replace the player with the new signing of Clement Lenglet from Sevilla who joined the club recently in the transfer window.
The player stepped up for his national side in the World Cup and had an exceptional tournament scoring 3 goals in 3 matches for the Colombians to make it to the round of 16 in the tournament.
Yerry Mina is subject to major transfer talks this summer as the Catalan side look to replace the centre-back after a poor showing in the last season and are looking to offload the player this transfer window.
Jose Mourinho who is galvanising his Manchester United side and is acquiring players that are needed to fix certain areas of the team, is looking to buy the centre back to strengthen the defence.
The Catalan star is also attracting a lot of interest from the French side Lyon who are also looking to strengthen their squad this summer and are looking to wrap up a deal as quickly as possible.
Many reports suggest that there has been a 26.5 million euro bid tabled for the Barcelona star and the club are considering the sale of the player to either Manchester United or Lyon.
Since the purchase of Lenglet, Mina is considering his future at the Catalan side and is ready to move to another club in search of regular playing time.
