Premier League outfit West Ham United have been reportedly rebuffed in their attempts to sign Inter Milan star Yann Karamoh. According to reports, a loan move for the French starlet has been rejected by the Italian giants, who are also pondering over the future of their prized youngster.
The 19-year-old Yann Karamoh initially made his move from SM Caen to Inter Milan last summer, in a two-year loan deal. As part of that agreement, Karamoh is entitled to join Inter permanently in 2019 for around £5 million.
However, that being said, the French Under-21 international is currently assessing his future, following a mixed debut season with Inter Milan. This has ultimately led to the Nerrazurri holding talks with SM Caen regarding the quick sale of their prized asset this summer.
The Italian giants are willing to buy the winger right now and sell him in the summer, in order to gain a quick profit, which has alerted the likes of West Ham United and some other Premier League clubs.
Even though rebuffed in their earlier attempts to sign the youngster, West Ham should definitely make a move for Yann Karamoh, who can definitely add some strength into their attacking department.
The London giants have once again failed to live up to their expectations this season, finishing in the bottom half of the table despite boasting a strong roster. Although defensive fragility has been the main reason behind their demise, the Hammers have also lacked some firepower in their offensive department.
The likes of Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll amongst many others haven’t been in the top of their game this season but most importantly, these players have actually failed to integrate themselves to West Ham’s tactical philosophy under David Moyes. Therefore, the addition of Yann Karamoh could revitalise West Ham’s attack, especially when it comes to pace and dynamism.
Not only can the youngster adapt well to Moyes’ philosophy at West Ham but also has the versatility, which is almost necessary for any modern day attacker. Generally a right winger, Yann Karamoh can play in a number of positions, including the striker role as well as the secondary striker and if necessary, even as a left winger.
Furthermore, the 19-year-old is also known for his incredible dribbling abilities, which will definitely make him a prized asset at West Ham United.
The attacking trio of Marko Arnautovic, Manuel Lanzini and Yann Karamoh could make some waves in the Premier League next season and therefore, the Hammers should definitely persist with their interest in this highly talented attacker from Inter Milan this summer.
