His dribbling allows him to get out of cramped spaces easily and hence the player never gets bothered being marked.
This season, he has played 23 matches and has scored once. However, Seri has also created a whopping 49 goal-scoring chances, four of which have resulted in assists. Chances at Old Trafford:
Jose Mourinho has often lacked midfielders in important games this season. Especially in the first half of the season, he was without Paul Pogba for many important games. With the possible departures of two more midfielders, Mourinho will definitely ask for more midfielders in the transfer market. Scott McTominay’s progress has been inspiring, but Mourinho will certainly need someone more experienced and creative at the centre of the park.
Seri’s ability to combine his offensive duties with a disciplined defensive play is something that Mourinho demands from his box-to-box players. Seri can be highly influential in attack whilst sitting in deep areas too. This gives him a better chance to deal whenever the opposition breaks on the counter. Overall, Seri will add a decent amount of depth and quality to Manchester United’s midfield.
