#2 Jordan Henderson
The skipper of the side, Henderson was also named the captain of the English national team in the absence of Harry Kane recently and is a dynamic midfielder who is effective in Klopp’s style of play.
He may not be the best in the business but is the best option for Liverpool in the no.6 role and now that he is fully fit, is expected to start most league games till the end of the season.
The Reds will need his tenacity and experience in the midfield to see off crunch games in the business end of the campaign.
#1 Joel Matip
Though Dutch star Virgil van Dijk will be Liverpool’s most crucial defender, the Reds need an able partner for van Dijk to make sure that they finish the season strongly.
Dejan Lovren has time and again let his team down and might struggle to break into the first team for the rest of the season.
Cameroon international Joel Matip should be the first choice partner for van Dijk and if he can have a solid end to the campaign, Liverpool are certain to finish the season off strongly.
