After a long and exhilarating break, the Premier League returns on 9th September in the hopes of filling and breaking hearts again. Noticeably, it has been a season of debutants. Some of them being Alvaro Morata, Mohamed Salah, Alexandre Lacazette and Chris Wood.
Manchester United are off to a flyer, while Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are sitting under their noses. There has been top quality football right from the outset with drama unfolding every other game, and there have been some top performers.
Here are the players to watch out for this weekend.
#3 Harry Kane
As lethal as anything can get, if Harry Kane finds his goal scoring rhythm back then it’s good bye opposition. Kane could not score a goal in August. One can call him unlucky as he hit the post and cross bar on a few occasions and looked sharp.
He looks hungry and given his form after August, the opposing team shouldn’t take him lightly. Kane won’t find it easy against an impressive Everton side, though. Though they seemed lethargy against Chelsea, expect the team to put in a resolute performance.
Kane will relish his battle with Everton defence and considering the game could be an open one, expect a goal or two from the England striker.
#2 Sadio Mané
This Senegalese is flying! He is on a different level right now. Mané is the main artist in Klopp’s much loved heavy metal band. He is scoring freely, grabbing crucial points for Liverpool and looks fired up for a trip to Manchester.
He has scored in all games so far as the team is playing some free flowing and smooth football. His ability as an inverted winger has come to the fore in Coutinho’s absence and expect the City defence to have a tough time while playing against him.
#1 Eden Hazard
Recovered and ready, Eden Hazard is set to travel to Leicester after an ankle injury which he suffered on international duty. His call up by Roberto Martinez surprised many at London, but he has got better and is looking to give it the full bet.
If anything could make Conte the happiest, it’s his return. His creativity and ability to glue the wingers and midfielders along with him is a piece of magic. He has got superb finishing and all the tricks and flicks. He will look to get on with the business right from the word go. Beware of hazardous football, Leicester City.
