Transfer Story
PSG’s dynamic winger, Lucas Moura has been the latest addition to the list of players linked to Old Trafford. It is a well-known fact that Manchester United are looking for a dynamic winger to add quality to their squad this summer and the Brazilian is apparently wanted by Jose Mourinho.
The charismatic winger has been a key figure in PSG’s squad making him an integral part of the team for the last couple of years.
With 2 years left on his current contract with PSG, the Parisians would no doubt command a huge fee for the Brazilian.
Seeing the winger joined PSG from Sao Paolo at an astounding fee of €40m, his current transfer value has been reported to be somewhere around €70m.
Let’s have a look at the stats of the winger for ourselves.

- The ex-Sao Paolo man has provided the Ligue 1 club with 19 goals and 6 assists in all competitions, exemplifying the player’s goal scoring ability and creativity down the flank.
- The player also has an impressive passing average of 82% and made a remarkable number of 82 key passes for the team in all competitions showcasing the quality and skill the player brings in the team every time he plays.

No further words required to state the quality that the winger would bring to the Red Devils.
What’ll he bring to the club?
Missing the effect of an out and out winger throughout the season, Mourinho has often bemoaned the lack of quality down the flank. With Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford and Lingard all being inconsistent when deployed on the flanks, it should come as no surprise that Mourinho would seek the services of Moura.
Moura with his creativity, vision and flair might provide the Red Devils with the added edge that they need to compete on all fronts next season. Being part of both domestic and European ventures next season, Jose would be looking to add quality and depth to his squad and the 24-year old Brazilian would be a gem of an addition.
Worth the money?
Valued at almost €70m, it is a high-price buy for any team. But seeing the quality and exuberance he brings down the flank, it is no doubt a massive investment for any team.
Also, Manchester United have never shied away from high-price buy in the transfer market and investing in Moura won’t come as a surprise if the Red Devils do go ahead and lodge a bid.
The Old Trafford faithful are sure to keep their fingers crossed for this transfer.
