Match preview :
Brighton & Hove Albion host the Eagles in the last match of the hectic third round of the FA Cup tonight. This round has already seen a couple of upsets and this one too could go right down to the wire. However, just like their previous game that took place in November, this fixture could again be a cagey affair as both teams love to break and defend with numbers in the box. The Seagulls must feel confident coming into this game as they seek a fourth-round spot for the second year running. Since mid-December, they have kept three clean sheets in five, an invigorating stat.

There are no recent injuries or selection headaches for Brighton boss Chris Hughton.
Steve Sidwell remains a long-term casualty due to a back issue.
However, some out of favour players might feature in the line up as the ex-Norwich City manager has claimed that he would make changes for this tie. This could see the likes of Connor Goldson, Jiri Skalak and Beram Kayal enjoy a rare outing.

Defence :
Tim Krul could get a rare start in goal. The Dutch international is one of the smartest keepers around and is more than capable of making spectacular saves and his experience will also come in handy.
Lewis Dunk is expected to retain his spot in order to provide some stability and solidity in the starting line up. Alongside him, will be Connor Goldson who has fallen down in the pecking order, behind the in-form duo of Dunk and Duffy. Goldson, too, is a sound defender and a threat during set pieces.
Gaetan Bong started the game before the previous one against Newcastle and is expected to return to the starting line up. His biggest attributes are discipline and ball interception skills.
The veteran in Bruno could make way for Schelotto in the right back position. He may not have to pace and composure while passing when compared to his compatriot but certainly has got the experience, awareness and aerial ability.
Midfield :
Solomon March and the Columbian, Jose Izquierdo will play on the two wings. Both of them work really hard off the ball and the latter has been in top form recently, especially with his trickery, vision inside the box and counter-attacking capability.
Beram Kayal, who last started against Chelsea in a five-man midfield is expected to play again. Another player who will retain his spot from the previous game might be Dale Stephens, just to add that defensive presence and shielding effect.
Attack :
Jiri Skalak will get to prove his point in place of Gross. He needs to up the passing game, add more fluidity to the final third and pick early passes for the wingers or striker in order to fill the boots of the German.
The strength and daunting presence of Tomer Hemed could be seen in the striker’s position for Brighton to lead the attacking line.
