Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Team vs Bournemouth | Rose To Keep His Place

Tottenham Hotspur followed their narrow victory over West Ham United last weekend in the league with an impressive comeback win over Olympiakos in the Champions League game midweek

The 4-2 win over the Greek opposition means the Lilywhites have now won their first two games under Jose Mourinho. They will next revert their attention to the Premier League, when they welcome Bournemouth to London on Saturday.

The Cherries have lost their last two league games, but Spurs have not won back to back league games so far this season, and will look to break that record this weekend.

Mourinho seems to have lifted the spirits in the camp but Eddie Howe’s men play a good brand of football and will be no pushovers.

Tottenham Team News

In early team news, Hugo Lloris, Michel Vorm, and Erik Lamela remain sidelined for Spurs this weekend. Ben Davies picked up an injury last weekend and is not expected to make the Tottenham team.

Predicted Tottenham Team vs Bournemouth

Defence

Lloris absence gives Paulo Gazzaniga another chance to impress in the Tottenham lineup. The Argentine has impressed with his performances so far, but Mourinho will hope for a bit more consistency.

Mourinho made very little changes in the Tottenham team in his first two games, and is expected to stick with Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld at the back.

Davies’ absence will see Danny Rose retain his place at left-back in the Tottenham lineup, while Serge Aurier seems to be the preferred choice at right-back.

Midfield

Tanguy Ndombele only came off the bench in the mid-week, and could once again miss out this weekend. The partnership of Eric Dier and Harry Winks provides stability to the Tottenham team, and Mourinho is expected to stick with the duo for another game.

However, against the likes of Lewis Cook and Philip Billing, they need to add some creativity to the midfield, which they have failed to in the last couple of games.

Attack

Mauricio Pochettino was reluctant to use both Heung Min-Son and Lucas Moura as his wingers in the league. However, Mourinho has used the duo on either flank to good effect.

Adam Smith and Diego Rico will have their work cut out against these pacey wingers, who will surely create chances in the final third.

Dele Alli has been the preferred creative midfielder behind Harry Kane in the last two games. The English duo were both on the score-sheet against the Greek outfit in the Champions League, and will hope to produce something similar against Bournemouth come Saturday.
