Key Change In Attack: 4-1-4-1 Leicester City Predicted XI vs Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester City’s impressive start to the league campaign came to a halt last weekend at Old Trafford. A Marcus Rashford penalty was enough to hand the Foxes a defeat and Brendan Rodgers will hope that his side get back to winning ways this weekend, when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur who are ragged from a disappointing 2-2 draw in Greece.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men humiliated Crystal Palace last weekend but only managed to take a point from their Champions League game against Olympiakos. They have beaten The Foxes in each of the last three meetings but this game could be a lot closer on current form.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

In early team news, Rodgers is still without the services of Daniel Amartey and Matty James, both of who are suffering from niggles. But apart from the duo, the manager has a fully fit squad to chose from for this game.

Defence

Kasper Schmeichel had very little to do apart from facing the penalty at Old Trafford. But he might have a busier outing here.

Ben Chilwell and Roberto Pereira have both been crucial to Leicester’s positive start this season. But they had an underwhelming outing against United and could be tested yet again by the likes of Heung Min-Son and Christian Eriksen in this tie.

Caglar Soyuncu gave away the penalty against United but had an otherwise impressive game. He will keep his place in the side along with Jonny Evans, who will add some experience to the Leicester City lineup.

Midfield

Wilfred Ndidi has been effective so far this season and will have to add cover to the backline. He will have Hamza Choudhury to help him in shoring up the midfield while Youri Tielemans will have the freedom to add creativity to the spine of the team.

Demarai Gray did not have a real impact on the game at Old Trafford and could be replaced by Ayoze Perez on the right flank.

James Maddison, who according to Rodgers is more effective on the wing, will start on the left flank in the Leicester City lineup.

Attack

Jamie Vardy is still full of energy and purpose and will be the biggest threat for Spurs. The likes of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen will have their work cut out as Vardy will look to test Hugo Lloris with every chance he gets.

Here is how they might line up:
