Liverpool are keeping tabs on Calum Hudson-Odoi’s situation at Chelsea as it has been revealed that the Reds have held talks with the Bayern Munich target’s representatives.
Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to the Bavarian giants, and has failed to break into the Chelsea first team on a consistent basis.
The Chelsea winger’s contract expires in the summer of 2019 and it’s likely that he’ll leave considering talks of an extension have hit a wall.
According to German news outlet Bild, Liverpool have already met Bradley, who happens to be Hudson-Odoi’s agent.

Liverpool have made the headlines recently for renewing the contracts of Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, and Trent-Alexander Arnold, players who are still young and are expected to play a major role at the club for years to come.

The winger has sown great potential but hasn’t been given enough opportunities at Chelsea due to the presence of established players.
The Chelsea fans still feel his ability to take on players, and raw burst of pace are better options than the likes of Willian and Pedro, but Maurizio Sarri hasn’t shown enough faith in the teenager which has seen the England Under-19 international make a few appearances in the cups.
Klopp has done well to chisel young talents and whoever had the notion that players like Gomez and Alexander-Arnold were not going to be regular first team players have been proven wrong.
Hudson-Odoi won’t be an immediate first-team player of course, but under Klopp, he is likely to see more opportunities. Whether or not he’ll see more playing time at Bayern remains the bigger question.
It’s unlikely Bayern will stop at just Hudson-Odoi as you don’t replace departing stalwarts like Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery with just inexperience, so perhaps all the talk of him getting a lot of appearances at Allianz Arena is a bit far-fetched.
It’ll take Hudson-Odoi a bit more time to be a regular first-team player at any top club simply because of the dynamics of big sides.
Considering the precocious talent that Hudson-Odoi is, he would be a top long-term addition to the club. Chelsea aren’t keen on selling the starlet to Bayern and rejected a 35 million pound offer, so they will likely play hardball in selling him to a Premier League rival.
