Predicted Liverpool Lineup
Defence
Nathaniel Clyne has had the time to recuperate following is impressive display against Manchester United, and he should start against Newcastle United in the right-back role.
Andy Robertson has played a lot of games of late but is one of the fittest players in the squad, so he should keep his place at left-back.
Dejan Lovren and Virgil van Dijk should start at the heart of the defence and it’s one area the fans will be concerned about as they don’t have any more options for the role with both Joel Matip and Joe Gomez nursing injuries at the moment. Alisson will hope for a quiet game in goal.
Midfield
Jordan Henderson is expected to start as the deepest midfielder and he could be supported by the duo of Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner.
