The 6-2 defeat at the hands of Tottenham before the international break appeared to be the final nail in the coffin for Brendan Rodgers, but the club decided to keep faith in him. For now, the decision to keep Rodgers has paid off as his team produced a scintillating performance to brush aside a clueless Nottingham Forest side at the King Power Stadium.
However, the Northern Irishman still finds himself under immense pressure and will only be able to buy more time from the owners if he manages to beat Bournemouth—Leicester City’s next opponents. Thus, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Leicester players turn up at the Vitality Stadium.
