Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman in the summer transfer window. The Frenchman has been a part of the German club since 2015, and has made 200 appearances for the club, scoring 41 goals and assisting 50 times.
As per Sport1, Liverpool are closely monitoring Coman’s situation as the 25-year-old hasn’t yet signed a new contract with Bayern Munich. The German side are hoping that Coman agrees to a new deal, with Bayern Munich offering a salary of €13 million per year.
Manchester United could also make a move for Coman if they fail to land Jadon Sancho. If Bayern are to sell Coman, they will demand a fee of around €50 million for the winger.
Coman, who played for PSG and Juventus before joining Bayern Munich, has two years remaining on his current deal.

Kingsley Coman to Liverpool – The freshness their attack needs?
Kingsley Coman is a gifted footballer who has achieved quite a bit by the age of 25. He has won league titles in France, Italy and Germany, as well as a Champions League title with Bayern Munich, apart from plenty of domestic cups.
Coman is a quick and fearless winger who enjoys cutting in from the left to attack the central areas. He is a strong dribbler capable of single-handedly unlocking defences, while he also possesses the final ball to assist teammates or even score for himself.
The Frenchman can play a number of roles apart from his left-sided winger position. He can play on the opposite side, and also as a central striker or a second striker. He has the speed and dribbling ability to burst past opposing defenders.
Coman would be a brilliant addition to the Liverpool attack, which may need one or two additions in the future. Mohamed Salah continues to be a superb player out wide, scoring plenty of goals for his side, but Sadio Mane had a quiet 2020-21 season by his lofty standards. There have been rumblings of him possibly leaving the club and if the Senegalese international does leave Liverpool, Coman could be a direct replacement for him.
Coman, along with last summer signing Diogo Jota, would give manager Jurgen Klopp plenty of options in attack. The signing of Coman could also give Klopp the option of playing one of his wide men in the central position, to give him an alternative to Roberto Firmino. The French winger is a talented footballer who has the flair and speed to be a tremendous player in the Premier League.
