PREDICTED MAN UNITED LINEUP VS FULHAM (4-2-3-1)

Team News

Manchester United will be without captain and star defender Harry Maguire, as well as Phil Jones, Daniel James, and Anthony Martial for Tuesday night’s game. Solskjaer could give a few players a break and rotate the side to keep his players fresh ahead of the all-important Europa League final.

Goalkeeper

Dean Henderson put in an average performance against Liverpool and was at fault for one of the goals and had a tough time communicating with a nervy backline in front of him. David de Gea, who could start the Europa League final, could replace him, to get some game time under his belt.

Defence

Solskjaer may rest Eric Bailly, who played twice in the last week, and he could be replaced by Axel Tuanzebe. Victor Lindelof should start alongside Tuanzebe, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka should start at right-back. Luke Shaw could also be given a break with Alex Telles taking his place at left-back in the Man United lineup.

Midfield

Fred and Scott McTominay were dreadful against Liverpool, and both could be replaced in midfield. Nemanja Matic could come into the Man United lineup, while Paul Pogba could move to the central area. Bruno Fernandes should start as the attacking midfielder, while Donny van de Beek is an option that Solskjaer could use off the bench.

Attack

Edinson Cavani will most likely be rested for Tuesday night’s game with the in-form Mason Greenwood replacing the veteran striker up front in the Man United lineup.

Amad Diallo could get a start on the right side of the attack for the Red Devils after his Premier League debut against Leicester City last week.

Marcus Rashford will most likely start on the left in the Man United lineup against Fulham. Juan Mata and Anthony Elanga could be options off the bench for Solskjaer.
