Chelsea have had an encouraging season under Frank Lampard, despite them being far from the summit of the Premier League.
The Blues have had a season of mixed fortunes, and one where Lampard has given opportunities to several youngsters, who have flourished.
But, the London side need quite a few additions in the summer, and as per Evening Standard, Lampard will be backed in the summer with a transfer kitty of around £150 million. Who should the Chelsea manager target in the summer?

#3 Moussa Dembele (Lyon)
Chelsea need more firepower to support Tammy Abraham, who has had a solid season with the Blues. Olivier Giroud’s contract expires in the summer and he will leave the club, while Michy Batshuayi hasn’t quite earned the trust of Lampard.
The Blues should break the bank for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, who is their prime target according to Evening Standard.
The former Celtic and Fulham striker has been in good form over the last two seasons for the French club, scoring 38 goals and making 12 assists in 79 games in all competitions. So far this season, Dembele has scored 18 times in 33 games for Lyon.
The 23-year-old’s movement, speed, and impressive goal-scoring record could make him a solid signing for the Blues, with the above report indicating that he would be available for around £60 million.
#2 Ben Chilwell
The Chelsea defence needs some improvement in the summer, as the Blues require a need left-back to complement the solid options at right-back.
Reece James and captain Cesar Azpilicueta are good options on the right, offering something in attack and defence, but left-back is one area where they can improve as Emerson and Marcos Alonso have not been consistent.
The Blues should sign Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, who has been very good for the Foxes over the last few seasons.
The 23-year-old is solid in defence with his clean tackling and aerial ability, while also being a composed passer and crosser from the back. He is a player that could be a part of the Chelsea first-team for the next decade and would strengthen the Chelsea defence significantly.
Lampard is reportedly a big fan of the England international, and a recent report indicated that the Blues could sell Alonso to get some funds to make the Chilwell deal happen.

Another exciting young Englishman is attacker Jadon Sancho, who is having a phenomenal 2019-20 season with Borussia Dortmund, continuing where he left off from last season.
The former Manchester City player has broken several records in Germany and it’s only a matter of time before he leaves the German club.
Sancho has scored 15 goals and made 16 assists in 28 games in all competitions for Dortmund this season. He would be a perfect fit on the Chelsea right, with his speed, dribbling, and fantastic technical ability.
