Arsenal hosted Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium earlier today in their latest Premier League fixture. The north London based outfit were desperate for a win but were held to a 1-1 draw by the Blades.

Bernd Leno 7/10
Arsenal’s saviour once again, Leno made a couple of commendable saves to keep his side in the game and was confident between the sticks.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles 6/10
The right-back found it difficult at times to deal with Oliver McBurnie and Enda Stevens. Besides, his link-up play with Nicolas Pepe was far from impressive.
Shkodran Mustafi 7/10
Mustafi had a positive outing, although he took some time to settle in. He won 7 aerial duels and made 2 tackles and hardly did anything inappropriate.
David Luiz 7/10
The Brazilian had a busy day on the pitch but Mikel Arteta must have been happy to see him showcasing a lot of resilience at the back, particularly against Lys Mousset.
Bukayo Saka 7/10
George Baldock was kept at bay by Saka and apart from that, the young gun also ventured forward at regular intervals to create chances for his teammates.
Granit Xhaka 8/10
It was unarguably one of the best games for Xhaka this season. The Swiss international distributed the ball with sheer ease, tracked back to defend regularly and made a crucial block just before the 90th minute to rescue his side.
Lucas Torreira 7/10
The central midfielder thrived with a lot of perseverance, making 2 tackles and registering a pass completion rate of 84%, and did a good job while going forward as well.
Nicolas Pepe 7/10
Pepe was a livewire on the right flank as he was desperately searching for loopholes in Chris Wilder’s backline. He completed 3 dribbles but he was unable to churn final products.
Mesut Ozil 6/10
The playmaker found it hard to breach past John Egan and Oliver Norwood and was far from convincing. He did toil hard but couldn’t really make his presence felt most of the time.
Gabriel Martinelli 7/10
Although he found the back of the net, he had many other chances to score which he wasted. Nonetheless, it must have been a good experience for him.
Alexandre Lacazette 6/10
The Frenchman couldn’t impose himself upfront and failed to deliver once again. Arteta really needed Lacazette to step up in the absence of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but he flattered to deceive.
Substitutions
Eddie Nketiah 7/10
After coming on for Lacazette, Nketiah got involved immediately and got along nicely in the offensive regions.
