Goal-Scoring Machine Open To Everton Move: Pros And Cons Of Signing Him

Having managed to hire Carlo Ancelotti as their manager, Everton are now a team that can make some interesting signings in the upcoming transfer windows.

Ancelotti’s aura may help them attract some of the finest players in Europe, and one player they have been linked with of late is former Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to a story from The Telegraph, the 38-year-old striker is open to joining the Toffees to work with Ancelotti once again.

The duo worked together at PSG, but what will Zlatan bring to Everton?  Here are the positives and negatives of this move for the Merseyside outfit:

Ibrahimovic to Everton – Pros

Having won league titles in Italy, Spain and France, Ibrahimovic is one of the most decorated strikers in world football.

The Champions League title may have eluded him but he still remains a respected striker, as he has shown in his last 18 months with LA Galaxy.

After a 17-goal campaign with Manchester United, Ibrahimovic registered 53 goals and 14 assists in just 55 MLS games, and is still a player most defenders hate to face.

The pace and physicality of the Premier League might be too much for a 38-year-old but Ibrahimovic will not only add an attacking option from the bench, but will also add invaluable experience to the squad, which could be key in turning things around at Goodison Park.

He is a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy earlier in the season, and signing Ibrahimovic will also reduce the burden on young Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Moise Kean up top for the Toffees.

He may not be able to play every game but the threat of a goal-scorer with 280 goals under his belt in his career, will make Everton a tougher side to face.

Ibrahimovic to Everton – Cons

Apart from his age, Zlatan has very little negatives about his game.

He is not a mobile player anyway and is usually a target man, who loves to dominate the box. His vision and technique are sure to trouble even the best of defenders in the league while his ability to score goals from nothing will win Everton crucial points in the business end of the season.

This could, however, mean even less game time for Cenk Tosun, who is struggling in front of goal.

Zlatan’s wages may be an issue but for his quality, he is a player that will surely make Everton a stronger side.

He is, however, not a long term solution to the goal-scoring issues at Goodison Park Ancelotti will only be plastering the cracks till the end of the season with this signing.

In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good how to get viagra cheap content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
