Despite bagging an early lead through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s header, all of Arsenal’s hard work against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium went in vain as they fell like a pack of cards right at the end.
Bernd Leno’s error allowed Jorginho to level the score sheet late in the second half. Minutes later, Tammy Abraham banged another for the Blues from a close range which allowed them to secure all three points.

Bernd Leno 4/10
Leno had a forgettable outing today as he misjudged Mason Mount’s free-kick, which allowed Jorginho to bag the equalizer. Further, he could have done better to prevent Abraham from bagging the winning goal.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles 8/10
The right-back made 5 tackles and went forward time and again. He operated with a lot of speed and showcased immense composure while he had the ball.
Calum Chambers 6/10
Chambers looked solid at the back, bagging an assist as well, but succumbed to an injury early in the game.
David Luiz 7/10
Apart from a couple of clumsy moments, the former Chelsea defender was fairly resilient. He marshalled the backline meticulously and also went high up the pitch occasionally.
Bukayo Saka 7/10
He seemed to lack the required energy after the hour mark but prior to that, he hardly showed any sign of weakness. Saka maintained a decent balance between his offensive and defensive duties, which was impressive to watch.
Matteo Guendouzi 5/10
Guendouzi was easily breached at times by the likes of Mount and Willian, which piled pressure on the defence. Besides, he was bereft of composure and committed some needless fouls.
Lucas Torreira 7/10
The Uruguayan international broke the attacking endeavours of Chelsea and also won possession back for his side time and again. He was unarguably the engine room of Mikel Arteta’s side and fared well against N’Golo Kante in particular.
Reiss Nelson 7/10
Operating from the right flank, Nelson caused problems for Emerson with his pace and willingness. He ran tirelessly on the pitch and his energy was worth noticing.
Mesut Ozil 7/10
Ozil orchestrated Arsenal’s attacks brilliantly in the first-half with his impeccable passes and clever movements. He faded substantially after the interval but is settling well in Arteta’s tactics.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 7/10
The Gabon international scored a superb headed goal early in the game and also contributed defensively, making 3 tackles during his outing.
Alexandre Lacazette 7/10
Lacazette held the ball with sheer determination and left no stone unturned to be an instrumental player for his side. However, he is still struggling to score.
Substitutions
Shkodran Mustafi 6/10
After coming on for Chambers in the first-half, Mustafi was solid and refrained from collapsing. However, he could have done better to stop Abraham from scoring.
Joe Willock 6/10
Following his introduction, he brought a lot of energy into Arsenal’s attack. He had a great chance to score but he narrowly missed the same.
