Arsenal have had a decent start to the new season, having collected 15 points from 8 games in the Premier League, and are placed at the third spot in the league standings.
They have bagged wins in both of their Europa League outings and also bulldozed past Nottingham Forest to pave their way into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
However, a number of their key players were out injured, owing to which Unai Emery wasn’t able to field his strongest side until now.
Nonetheless, here is how the north London outfit’s starting XI should look like once Emery has all his players at his disposal.
STRONGEST ARSENAL XI (4-3-3)
Defence
Bernd Leno has been fantastic between the sticks so far this season. Despite having a dicey defence ahead of him, the German shot-stopper has pulled off outstanding saves time and again to save the blushes of his side.
At right-back, Hector Bellerin could be the most sensible option. The Spaniard has pace to burn and has adequate experience under his belt.
Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney will be the best choice for the left-back position and has already shown some promising signs having returned from injury.
The central defensive pair comprising of Sokratis and David Luiz has been below par. With Rob Holding and Calum Chambers on his books, Emery should look to use them regularly to solve Arsenal’s defensive woes with an eye on the future.
Midfield
Matteo Guendouzi has been one of the best players for the Gunners this campaign. The 20-year-old has run the show in central midfield and has mustered 2 tackles per game on an average.
Although Emery prefers using Granit Xhaka alongside Guendouzi in central midfield, Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira would bring bite and resilience into the midfield setup of Arsenal.
Dani Ceballos has blown hot and cold but is the best creative option in the advanced midfield role at the moment with Mesut Ozil completely out of the picture.
Attack
Alexandre Lacazette is their best option upfront given his work ethic and finishing ability. Nicolas Pep will be taking up the right flank and Emery will hope Bellerin and the new signing can drum up a lethal partnership in the coming weeks.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has plundered 7 goals from 8 league games and is the obvious choice on the left flank.
