Sheffield United will make a trip to the Goodison Park to face Everton in their sixth game of the season.
The Blades suffered a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton last Saturday at the Bramall Lane and will definitely aim to bounce back.
However, the Toffees are obviously no pushovers and following a busy summer wherein they made a number of quality signings, they certainly are a formidable side despite their patchy start.
Sheffield United Team News
Billy Sharp received a red card against the Saints last weekend and will, therefore, miss the upcoming fixture against the Blues.
Meanwhile, Ravel Morrison and Luke Freeman will be pushing for starts this weekend. Callum Robinson is fully fit following his recovery from a minor hamstring injury and will be available for selection.
Predicted Sheffield United Lineup Vs Everton (3-5-2)
Defence
Dean Henderson is the undisputed first-choice custodian for Wilder’s side at the moment and he is likely to be stationed between the sticks once again.
A three-man backline comprising of Jack O’Connell, John Egan and Chris Basham will be rolled out by Wilder given their assured start to the campaign.
Having mustered 5 league appearances under his belt so far this season, Egan has managed to make 2.2 interceptions and 5.2 clearances per game on an average, which is impressive.
Wing-backs
Enda Stevens and George Baldock are expected to start as the full-backs once again. The duo has been instrumental in facilitating Wilder’s vision on the pitch and will be crucial tomorrow.
While Baldock made 5 tackles and won 2 aerial duels against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men, Stevens completed 2 dribbles.
Midfield
Freeman might be chalked into the starting lineup to add creativity and flair to the team’s endeavours in the final third at the expense of John Lundstram. Alongside him, John Fleck and Oliver Norwood are expected to start in the central midfield.
Attack
Oliver McBurnie and David McGoldrick flattered to deceive against Southampton and must step up soon. While the former has scored just 1 goal so far this campaign, the latter is yet to find the back of the net despite having played 5 league games.
