Manchester United will hope to return to winning ways this weekend against Leicester City after a winless streak of three games, which included one loss against Crystal Palace at home. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could miss out on quite a few players through injury against the Foxes, though.
Leicester will pose a huge threat for the Red Devils, having won two and drawn two of their four Premier League matches, and are currently third in the table.
The last time these two sides met at Old Trafford, a late Luke Shaw goal sealed the win for Manchester United.
PREDICTED MANCHESTER UNITED LINEUP vs LEICESTER CITY (4-2-3-1)
Goalkeeper
David de Gea will start in goal and might be in for a busy day.
Defence
United have serious injury concerns at the back ahead of the Leicester City game. Luke Shaw is out of the game against the Foxes through injury, while right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a doubt for the game.
Second-choice right-back Diogo Dalot is recovering from an injury, which means that that club captain Ashley Young could start at right-back and Marcos Rojo at left-back, while young Brandon Williams is an option at left-back in the Manchester United lineup.
The central defensive partnership for the game against Leicester City will be Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
Midfield
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Paul Pogba will miss the Leicester City game due to injury, which is a massive blow for the Red Devils. United will be up against a strong Leicester City midfield, and the loss of Pogba makes the task even more difficult for the Manchester club. We could see the midfield pairing of Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay for the game against Leicester, despite Matic making just one substitute appearance so far this season.
Jesse Lingard is also another doubt for the game against Leicester City which means that Juan Mata could retain his place as the No. 10 in the Manchester United lineup.
Attack
Daniel James, who has been the in-form player for United, will start on the left, with Andreas Pereira a likely option on the right with Mason Greenwood a more attacking alternative. Marcus Rashford will be the main striker for United as Anthony Martial has been ruled out of the game as well.
