Leicester City’s search for a win in the 2019-20 Premier League campaign continues as they had to be content with a point from their trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Chelsea bagged an early lead through Mason Mount’s composed strike following an error by Wilfred Ndidi. However, the Foxes fought back and were the better team in the second half after they upped the tempo.
James Maddison pulled the strings for Leicester, and the Englishman was the architect of the equaliser in the second half as he helped Ndidi make amends.

Kasper Schmeichel 6/10
The custodian may have done better to prevent Mount from finding the back of the net, considering the high standards he has set. Nonetheless, he fared well from thereon, and distributed the ball well.
Christian Fuchs 7/10
Ben Chilwell’s absence was clearly felt in the first half as Fuchs flattered to deceive while going forward, though he prevented Kante from scoring a tap-in in the first 45 minutes. However, he made a drastic transformation after the break as he offered a threat going forward.
Caglar Soyuncu 6.5/10
The central defender did well to deal with the likes of Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham, although he struggled to impose himself early on.
Jonny Evans 7/10
Evans was solid at the back and was exceptional with his positional awareness.
Ricardo Pereira 7/10
The right-back worked hard and linked up well with the attackers in the final third.
Wilfred Ndidi 6/10
Ndidi was caught flat-footed by Mount that resulted in the opening goal. The midfielder was a lot more solid in the second half, and scored the header that brought Leicester level.
Hamza Choudhury 5/10
It was a forgettable outing for the midfielder as he was largely anonymous and hardly made his presence felt.
Youri Tielemans 7/10
Tielemans struggled in the first half, but he proved to be an influential figure after Leicester City pressed the accelerator in search of a goal. Was much better going forward when Leicester were on the front foot.
Ayoze Perez 5/10
Andres Christensen and Kurt Zouma kept Perez at bay and didn’t really allow him to set up genuine chances for his teammates to score.
James Maddison 7/10
After having struggled in the first half, Maddison was a livewire in the second half. Good cross for Ndidi’s goal, but could have scored the winner if he hadn’t blazed his shot over the bar in the second half.
Jamie Vardy 7/10
The striker was closely monitored by Zouma and Christensen, but his link-up play was commendable at times.
