West Ham United are eyeing a move for Eibar midfield ace Joan Jordan, as per reports.
The Hammers are ready to launch a €15million bid to meet Jordan’s release clause, it has been claimed by Marca.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have already struck some good deals to strengthen their squad, and they are increasingly confident of securing Jordan’s signature soon.
The Hammers have completed the signings of David Martin, Roberto and Pablo Fornals so far in the window.
Pellegrini’s side finished tenth in the Premier League last season and they must strive for a place in the Europa League next season. They do need a box-to-box midfielder to strike up a long-term partnership with Declan Rice and have thus set their sights on Joan Jordan.

Jordan emerged through the youth ranks of Spanish outfit Espanyol and after showcasing his credentials for their reserve side, he steadily paved his way into their senior team. During the 2016-17 season, he was shipped out on loan to Valladolid and then moved to Eibar in the summer of 2017.
In 36 La Liga appearances last season, he scored 4 goals and also registered 4 assists to his name owing to which he is being targeted by the Irons. He plied his trade in a wide range of positions in the midfield and also mustered an impressive pass completion rate of 83.4%.

The 24-year-old is a clever midfielder owing to his ability to open up spaces and making intelligent passes. He has the tendency to get forward with the ball and further, he also tracks back timely to cushion his side’s backline from the attacking endeavours of the opposition.
