These Arsenal and Manchester United fans react hilariously on Twitter to the PL fixture list

The Premier League fixtures are out for the 2019-20 season, and as expected, it starts off with a bang!

The season starts on August 9, 2019 which will see 2018-19 Premier League runners-up Liverpool host newly promoted Norwich City at Anfield.

The big match of the opening weekend is the match between Manchester United and Chelsea at Old Trafford on August 11, 2019.

The Red Devils have a few tricky fixtures at the start of the season apart from the Chelsea game. They play Wolves away from home, where they lost last season, and also face Southampton away from home at the end of August. They also play Arsenal in the last game of September at Old Trafford.

Champions Manchester City will play the following day when they travel to London Stadium and face West Ham United on August 10, 2019. City won the title by a single point ahead of Liverpool in the 2018-19 season, and will hope to have a hat-trick of Premier League titles at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Arsenal, meanwhile, will travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United, while arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur will face Premier League newcomers Aston Villa.

Unai Emery’s side have a tough run of fixtures at the start of the season as they face Liverpool away from home, and Spurs at home in back-to-back games to round off the month of August.

The Gunners’ title challenge could virtually be over by the time they face Manchester United on 28th September as they would have already faced two of their direct rivals in Liverpool and Tottenham.

The season kicks off with the Community Shield match between Liverpool and Manchester City which will take place on August 4, 2019 at Wembley.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the release of the Premier League fixtures for 2019-20.
