Serie A striker would play for Liverpool if given a choice: Should Klopp think about a move?

On paper, if there is one area where Liverpool have lacked strength in depth, it’s the striker’s position. Roberto Firmino, Liverpool’s No. 1 striker, has been their key player in the forward position over the last few seasons, but manager Jurgen Klopp does not have another top striker as an option on the substitute’s bench.

While Divock Origi has come up with the goods in vital games when called upon, Daniel Sturridge hasn’t offered much, scoring just 4 goals in all competitions in 18 appearances this season.

Sassuolo and Italy international Domenico Berardi, in an interview, revealed that if he had to choose one club to transfer to, it would be Liverpool:

“If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club, I will evaluate it with my club. And if I hear that it is the right proposal, to be taken on the fly, this time I will say to Sassuolo: ‘I’ll take it’. Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool,” said the 24-year-old.

Berardi has only played for the Italian team and made his international debut last year.

Should the Reds make a move for Berardi?

The versatile Italian attacker can play in multiple positions. The left-footer primarily plays as a right-sided attacking midfielder, cutting inside to join in the attack, while he has been deployed as a striker as well as a second striker.

Great with the ball and without it, Berardi is a player who has immense work-rate, can drift into dangerous areas and makes the right decisions in the final third. An intelligent player, he opens space for teammates to run into with his clever runs and also has good finishing skills.

An all-round player who offers many options for his manager, Berardi can be a good option for Klopp from the bench with his versatility, determination, goal-creating and goal-scoring skills. His short and long passing, work-rate, and great positioning will mesh with the Liverpool manager’s tactics at Anfield.

The leading all-time goalscorer for Sassuolo with 73 goals, Berardi has been part of the club’s rise to Serie A having come through their academy. He has scored 9 times and notched up 4 assists in all competitions this season for Sassuolo.

The fashion designer said in a new interview with The Times that Viagra best place has happened to women in the last 15 years.
