Liverpool will take on Porto later tonight in the Champions League, and the Reds will hope to safely make it to the semi-finals where Barcelona await.
Jurgen Klopp’s side picked up a 2-0 win at Anfield a week ago against the Portuguese side, but the away clash won’t be easy.
Porto will want to prove a point after last year’s 5-0 humbling against the same side in the knockout stages, and their performance in the first leg showed they are no easy side to take on.
Liverpool will be high on confidence after picking up a 2-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday, but we might see one or two changes to the lineup that started against Porto in the first leg.
Liverpool Team News
Jordan Henderson is fit to take a part in the clash after suffering a knock in the clash against Chelsea, but we might see him getting a rest. The same can be said of Naby Keita, who might make way for Gini Wijnaldum in midfield.
Andy Robertson is back and should feature at left-back after missing the previous game due to a suspension.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez are developing well after returning from their respective injuries, but we don’t expect them to play a part against Porto.
Predicted Liverpool Lineup vs Porto
Defence
Despite the counter-attacking threat from Chelsea, Liverpool held on for a clean sheet and are expected to stick with the same back four that took to the field against the Blues.
Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk should feature at the heart of the defence, while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Robertson will play as the full-backs. Alisson should line up in goal once again.
Midfield
The trio of James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho might start in the midfield.
Both Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita have done well in the attacking roles, but considering Liverpool have a two-goal lead, the manager might go with the solidity in midfield.
Attack
Mohamed Salah scored a scorcher against Chelsea, and the Liverpool fans will hope the Egyptian now manages a good run of goalscoring form until the end of the season. Salah should start along with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in attack.
Mane scored a hat-trick the last time Liverpool travelled to Estadio do Dragao, and will hope to get on the score sheet once again.
