4-2-3-1 Everton lineup vs Fulham: Bernard To Start?

Everton will look to continue their winning momentum as they travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday.

The Toffees are on fiery form at the moment, having secured three back to back victories in the Premier League – a run which includes wins over Arsenal and Chelsea.

Everton team news

Everton could still be without the services of Yerry Mina, who suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty last month. Morgan Schneiderlin, on the other hand, is a doubt but is hoping to recover his ankle problem before the game. He could face a late fitness test.

Predicted Everton lineup vs Fulham

Defence

Phil Jagielka scored the only goal in the win over Arsenal last weekend. But, we expect the veteran defender to make way for Kurt Zouma, who will deputize for the injured Mina at the heart of the four-man backline.

Zouma will be partnered by Michael Keane, who has been in excellent form since the turn of the year and will be a vital cog in the Everton defence as they look to stop Alexander Mitrovic and Co.

Seamus Coleman is a guaranteed starter in the right-back position along with Lucas Digne, who will be deployed on the opposite flank. Digne has been influential in Everton’s approach play and build-up this season and his presence could be crucial, especially in stretching the play in the final third while Coleman will look to whip in dangerous crosses into the box.

Jordan Pickford will retain his place in goal as the England international searched for his 12th clean sheet of the season.

Midfield

With Schneiderlin doubtful, coach Marco Silva will resort to the midfield duo of Idrissa Gueye and Andre Gomes at the base of Everton’s 4-2-3-1.

The industrious Gueye will be tasked with the responsibility of initiating turnovers in the middle of the pitch while Gomes’ technical quality is sure to help him ease Everton’s transition from midfield to attack. The Portuguese will also look to bring others into play with his exceptional passing range.

Attack

Silva is likely to use the same attacking unit he used in the win over Arsenal, meaning star player Richarlison will continue to operate on the flanks, along with Bernard while Gylfi Sigurdsson will be deployed as the lone attacking midfielder.

And finally, Dominic-Calvert Lewin will spearhead the Everton attack, looking to continue his excellent run of form under Silva this year.

This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, viagra, as the magazine put it, given that Pfizer scientists discovered the drug.
