Real Madrid star Isco is willing to part ways with the club after falling out with the manager, it has been claimed.
According to CalcioMercato(via Manchester Evening News), the Spanish international is furious at coach Santiago Solari for his lack of first-team opportunities and has asked his agent to contact Manchester City regarding a potential transfer in the summer
Isco: Just what Guardiola needs
Manchester City are, without a doubt, one of the most creative sides in Europe at the moment, boasting the services of Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and David Silva among others.
However, with David Silva nearing the final phase of his career, it might be time for Guardiola to find a proper long-term replacement for the veteran midfielder and Isco will be a possible target.
Isco was one of the Real Madrid’s most important players under Zinedine Zidane, having been involved in as many as 45 goals in 114 matches under the Frenchman. But, following his departure at the end of last season, the Spaniard has found it difficult to make himself a regular fixture in the Real Madrid starting lineup.
As a matter of fact, the former Malaga star has featured in little over 600 minutes of league action this season, struggling under both Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, with the latter having offered Isco only 202 minutes of league football.
Therefore, a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu could make a world of sense and Manchester City, in that regard, are an appealing suitor for the Spanish international.

Much like David Silva, Isco is blessed with excellent technical prowess while his fleet-footed movements allow him to operate even in tight spaces.
But, what makes him such an appealing target for the Citizens is his neat passing as the 26-year-old is capable of not only circulating the ball at a quick-rate but is also an accurate passer, who has averaged over 85% pass completion in each of his six seasons at the Bernabeu so far.
This means that Isco shouldn’t find any problem in integrating to Manchester City’s possession-based game under Guardiola, who can utilize the Real Madrid star as a partnering midfielder to De Bruyne and Fernandinho, allowing Bernardo Silva more freedom further up the pitch.
However, it remains to be seen whether Manchester City rekindle their interest in Isco, knowing that they first need to find a proper long-term replacement for the ageing Fernandinho.
