Leicester City Team News

Daniel Amartey is steadily recovering from his ankle injury and apart from him, Puel has all his key players available.
PREDICTED LEICESTER CITY LINEUP VS MANCHESTER UNITED (4-2-3-1)
Defence
Puel has preferred a four-man defensive wall and is likely to stick with the same. Jonny Evans and Harry Maguire put on a commendable display at the back against a rampant Liverpool side and will fancy themselves to deal with the likes of Rashford and Pogba.
Maguire has once again been consistent in his endeavours in the league. He averages 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, 5.3 clearances and 0.6 blocks per game after 19 Premier League appearances this season.
While Ben Chilwell is expected to keep his place at left-back, Ricardo Pereira is likely to start on the opposite flank. The duo will have to make sure they don’t leave space behind for the likes of Sanchez and Lingard to run into but at the same time cannot afford to just hang back and invite pressure.
Kasper Schmeichel should keep his place between the sticks as usual. The custodian will be tested by the likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford and he needs to be at the top of his game.
Midfield
Nampalys Mendy and Wilfred Ndidi are likely to start in the double pivot. They will have to deal with and try to shackle a rampant Paul Pogba and will have to be at their best.
Ndidi, though, has been fantastic this season, mustering 3.2 tackles, 1.9 interceptions and 2.3 clearances per game on an average after 24 league outings and he will play an instrumental role in the upcoming fixture.
James Maddison is likely to start in the no.10 role. The Englishman will be eager to make a statement against one of the big boys and tomorrow’s fixture presents the perfect opportunity to do so.
Attack
Jamie Vardy will start up front once again. He has scored 7 goals and registered 3 assists in 20 league appearances this season and he will be eager to add to those numbers.
Demarai Gray and Marc Albrighton are expected to take up their position on the flanks. These two wide players will look to stretch Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defensive line and create goal-scoring chances for their teammates.
