It was an eventful January transfer window in the Premier League, with a number of players changing clubs.
While London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal both got their transfer targets in the form of Gonzalo Higuain and Denis Suarez, Tottenham Hotspur went back to back transfer windows without signing anyone.
With injuries to key players like Harry Kane and Dele Alli, who are out until March, it is to be seen how Spurs fare in the coming months as the race for the title heats up.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool also did not bring in any new players during January.
Out of a number of players who have completed their move to the Premier League, here are three, whose arrival could make a big impact.
#3 Denis Suarez (Barcelona to Arsenal, Loan)
Like their London rivals, the Gunners were looking to add some significant attacking threat to their lineup as well.
The addition of the out-of-favour Spanish winger from Barcelona could just give them the impetus they were looking for.
Current Arsenal manager Unai Emery worked with the player at Sevilla during the 2014-15 Europa League winning season, and it could be the reunion the Gunners needed as they look to finish inside the top four come the end of the season.
#2 Youri Tielemans (AS Monaco to Leicester City, Loan)
The highly-rated Belgian midfield ace was brought in by Leicester City manager Claude Puel to add some much-needed creativity to the team, who have been inconsistent this season.
The physicality and the agility of the 21-year-old midfielder might provide the energy the Foxes were lacking in the middle of the pitch.
Tielemans’ ability to chip in with important goals could also come in handy for Puel in the coming months.
#1 Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus to Chelsea via AC Milan, Loan)
The Chelsea fans were crying out for a new striker they got one in Higuain. The Argentine has been one of the most prolific forwards in the game in recent years, and has played for some of the biggest clubs in Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan.
El Pipita’s loan move from Juventus, who cut short his loan spell at AC Milan and sent him to Stamford Bridge, could be a masterstroke for the Blues and especially for their manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian had grown visibly frustrated with the failures of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, and was looking for someone like Higuain to beef up his attack.
The two worked together at Napoli where Higuain was at his prolific best, and might be the missing piece of the jigsaw at Stamford Bridge. His performance against Huddersfield shows what he is capable of.
